Updated in 2012, located on 104 feet of private waterfront. Spacious living and dining areas, incorporates an attractive fully equipped and efficient gourmet kitchen. The family room, fireplace, built in bar with wine refrigerator and separate beverage refrigerator, cupboards ample for glassware and ready for entertaining just across from the kitchen. All with beautiful wood floors. An ample laundry with tile floor and half bath around the corner. The large master suite is on the first floor, master bath double sink counter top, ceramic tile floor, ample cabinet storage area, large walk in tile shower. Walk in closet with ample storage.
Wonderful lake views from the first floor window walls, French doors and sliders, all access the deck. Upstairs finds two lakeside bedrooms and a beautiful ceramic tiled bathroom. with walk in shower. A wonderful screened porch is just off the family room and adjoins the deck which runs across the lakeside of the house. An outside shower and gas grill are next to the porch. The deck is just steps from the water and leads directly to the dock.
The home is located on the north shore of Crystal Lake one mile east of the renowned Crystal Downs golf course and one and a half miles west of the southern end of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.

Summary: We loved this home on Crystal Lake. The second we walked in the door and were greeted by floor to ceiling sliding glass doors looking out onto the Lake, we knew we had found the perfect vacation home. We rented the house for almost 2 weeks and were very comfortable there. House has some atypical amenities that we loved, ie, a dedicated drinks fridge and an ice maker. Lots of room to spread out. Host was extremely responsive to messages sent through VRBO.

Summary: Beautifully appointed, terrific location, well-equipped — the best place to stay on Crystal Lake. This was our third year at this residence and we will return again next summer to this idyllic location. Hosts are helpful and accommodating and you can immediately tell this is their “home” with quality furnishings, bedding, and local art. It’s walkable to Rocks Landing, and a short drive to Frankfort and Beulah. The layout is perfect for families — we love the large living space on the main floor. A truly wonderful space and gracious hosts!

Summary: This was our second stay at Her View Too! The communication with Harlan and his understanding it’s unmatched. The property is gorgeous, the kitchen is well stocked, and everything was spotless upon our arrival. There was ample backstock of product and we didn’t need to restock anything during our stay. The cleaners did show up an hour before our scheduled check out time but we were already leaving so it was no big deal.

Summary: This is a wonderful property in a terrific location. It's clear from the well-stocked kitchen to the beautiful artwork that this is someone's beloved "home" that they are sharing with vacationers who want to experience Northern Michigan and Crystal Lake. The rooms are large, bright, and clean and there is plenty of space to make meals, eat as a family, play games, watch movies, and enjoy the water. The first floor primary bedroom is quiet and private and allows you to hear the water lapping on the shore. Our older kids had the upstairs bedrooms and bath to themselves and this separation of space was perfect. We ate most meals at home and the kitchen has everything you need, even a bundt pan! The mattresses, pillows, sheets, and towels are good quality and the art is by local artists who love this area as much as we do. The photos represent the space very well, but it's even better in person. We have already booked for next year --- this is a spectacular property.

Summary: We loved this home. It was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed to be comfortable on vacation for the week. Sincerely appreciated how clean and well maintained the home is and the nice set up with the main floor kitchen, dining and living room. We spent many evenings being together building puzzles on the large coffee tables. Cannot wait until next year!
